Where can I get funding?

Some businesses will already have funding in place others may require more help, startups in particular. We break down projects into stages to make it more manageable to see what the costs are and allows for development with partial funding. UK Government offers certain grants to help grow the UK economy. Crowd funding is also a common route to go down, there are many different companies out there such as Crowdcube, Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Unfortunately, Ideas Evolved does not fund any projects but we are happy to guide you along the way.

How can I protect my idea?

It is important to protect your idea if you are investing time and money into a new product. We use a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect you and ourselves to not disclose any information without permission. Patents are a legal document which for a limited period gives you the exclusive rights to an invention and you can take legal action against anyone that copies your invention within the allotted time. Design registration helps protect the appearance of a product, such as its shape or pattern. Other forms of protection are design rights, copyright, trademarking and a strong brand. If you have a strong brand, then it forms its own protection to a certain extent and makes it difficult for others to mimic.
